Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for;
Preparing accounts to review stage for small to medium clients.
Preparing and completing related tax and capital allowance computations.
Preparation and completion of self-assessment tax returns.
The ideal applicant will possess strong analytical skills, leadership qualities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Skills
- Extensive experience with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Bright, and other relevant platforms.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience mentoring or supervising team members.
- Effective communication skills to liaise confidently.
Qualifications/ Experience
- Previous experience working in a practice is essential.
- Be able to prepare accounts to review stage for a variety of small to medium sized clients
- Completion of related tax and capital allowance computations
- Be competent in the completion of Self-Assessment Tax Returns
- Have a strong working knowledge and experience of VAT & PAYE
- Experience of both sole trader and company accounts
- Competent IT Skills including a good understanding of Excel
- Must have Chartered Accountant qualification
