Hovat are a friendly organisation with a modern outlook, we have an opportunity for a flexographic printer at our Aylesford facility.
You’ll be responsible for operating CI flexographic printing presses within a fast-paced production environment, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety
Responsibilities
- Operating 8 colour CI flexo presses
- Setting up jobs, monitoring print quality, and making adjustments
- Working to production schedules and minimising downtime
- Carrying out routine checks and reporting faults
- Completing documentation and ensuring effective shift handovers
- Maintaining high standards in line with BRCGS and H&S procedures
- 3-Shift, 06.00 - 14.00, 14.00 - 22.00, 22.00 - 06.00.
Requirements
- Experience operating CI flexographic presses (essential – not stack)
- Background printing on various substrates such as foil & paper.
- Experience with solvent & water-based inks.
- Ability to run high-speed presses.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Team player with a proactive and reliable approach
- Knowledge of QA processes and colour measurement tools beneficial.
Pay: £34,000.00-£39,000.00 per year
