Car Finance Sales Person
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Car Finance Sales Person to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping customers secure the most suitable vehicle finance solutions, building strong client relationships, generating new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional with strong communication skills, a proactive approach to business development, and a proven track record in sales.
On-Target Earnings (OTE): Up to £70,000 per annum (including basic salary and commission).
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Working pattern: Monday to Saturday, with one weekday off each week.
Duties
- Engage with customers via telephone, email and face-to-face to discuss their vehicle finance requirements.
- Build rapport with customers and recommend suitable car finance products tailored to their needs and circumstances.
- Generate and convert new sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
- Explain finance options clearly and accurately, ensuring customers understand the products available.
- Liaise with lenders and internal teams to process finance applications efficiently.
- Utilise CRM software to manage leads, customer information and sales pipelines effectively.
- Upsell relevant products and services where appropriate to maximise revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, finance applications and follow-up activities.
- Work closely with the sales management team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Stay up to date with finance products, FCA requirements and industry developments.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience is essential. Applications without previous sales experience will not be considered.
- Previous experience in car finance, motor finance, automotive sales or financial services is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to build relationships and close sales in a target-driven environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales management software.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer enquiries simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a fast-paced team.
- A proactive attitude, excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
