Primary Teacher
A nurturing independent SEMH school in Dukinfield are looking for a qualified Primary Teacher to join their close-knit school.
This is a unique opportunity to join this well-established education group in supporting pupils with diverse needs. The school are seeking a Primary Teacher with experience of working with SEND or SEMH pupils. They provide a broad and balanced curriculum, to promote engagement and individual progression.

Job description:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons, to KS1/KS2 pupils with complex SEMH, ASC and other learning needs
- Alongside the curriculum, providing emotional regulation and sensory support
- Promoting independence and confidence through tailored, nurture-focused learning
- Tracking progress and contribute to EHCP processes
- Preparing pupils for transition to KS3
- Working hours: 8:15am - 4pm
- Starting asap/September
- Salary: £34,000 - £36,000
Person specification:
- Experience of teaching, preferably in a SEN setting
- QTS or QTLS (essential, ECTs welcome)
- Experience of adapting teaching to various needs
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Adaptable, resilient and empathetic attitude
