Hours: Mon – Fri | 9:00am – 5:30pm
Reports To: Centre Manager
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and rapidly expanding Training Provider in a dual-function role that sits at the heart of our operations. You will support our apprenticeship, ASF and Skills Bootcamp programmes while keeping our IT systems running smoothly, a genuinely varied role with real scope for progression.
Administration & Operations
▸ Advise and guide learners to choose the right programme for their goals
▸ Manage enrolment, class schedules, and examination timetabling
▸ Monitor learner progress and flag concerns to the Centre Manager
▸ Maintain accurate databases, spreadsheets, and contract records
▸ Ensure contractual compliance and data accuracy across all programmes
▸ Respond to learner and staff enquiries by phone and email professionally
▸ Liaise with internal and external examiners for efficient exam administration
▸ Prepare reports for the Prime organisation and Senior Management Team
▸ Support SAR preparation and contribute to quality improvement
▸ Supervise and coordinate team workloads, delegating tasks effectively
▸ Take minutes at team meetings and distribute action points
IT Support & Systems
▸ Serve as the first point of contact for all IT enquiries across the organisation
▸ Log, prioritise, and manage all Help Desk requests and incidents
▸ Manage user accounts, permissions, and conduct system audits
▸ Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot IT equipment for all staff
▸ Escalate complex issues to our external IT support partner
▸ Document processes, update the knowledge base, and propose improvements
▸ Track IT project issues and report progress to relevant teams

What We're Looking For
▸ Recent experience as an Administrator in an Education or Training setting
▸ Hands-on experience with Apprenticeship, AEB, Skills Bootcamp or Traineeship contracts
▸ Minimum 2 years in a similar role
▸ Up-to-date knowledge of the Education & Skills Funding sector
▸ Strong IT skills — confident with databases, spreadsheets and systems
▸ Excellent communication skills — written and verbal
▸ Ability to work at pace while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
▸ Tact, diplomacy, and a high level of confidentiality
▸ Some customer-facing or sales experience is a bonus
Qualifications
▸ Level 3+ in Business Administration (essential)
▸ Degree in IT or related subject (desirable)
▸ Evidence of regular CPD activity
▸ Attendance at relevant industry webinars or events
