A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Level 3 practitioner at our Parkstone Nursery. The ideal candidate must be energetic, self-motivated, have experience in early years and at least 1 years’ experience working with children in a baby unit (children aged 0-2years).
Key responsibilities:
- To lead, train and motivate the team and the room
- To ensure policies and procedures are adhered to in the room
- To ensure the safety, safeguarding and welfare of the room
- To build quality relationships with parents and work effectively with external agencies
- To support and develop the team to provide the best possible learning environment. To ensure all of the needs and requirements are met for the age group (2years and under).
- To ensure that all aspects of the EYFS are covered with the activities and routines within the room Central to our roles is, providing a safe, healthy, caring, inclusive and stimulating environment, where children are respected and supported as individuals and encouraged to learn through play and exploration.
You must:
- Have 2 years’ experience working in early years with at least 1 year at NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- At least 1 years’ experience working with children in a baby unit (children aged 0-2years).
- Have a full and relevant Early Years NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification or above
- Either have attended the CUP T2 Course or be prepared to complete
- Be a confident and caring individual with good communication skills
- Have the ability to work in close partnerships with parents
- Be organised and able to plan resources
- Act as a role model to others and have the ability to support a team
- Have a thorough understanding of the EYFS and be able to practically apply it to activities and routines
Hours: Full time (38.5 hours per week) Monday to Friday, All Year Round only.
Pay: £35,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
