Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring timely preparation and delivery
- Mix and serve beverages responsibly, adhering to food safety standards and responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, including setting up and breaking down stations
- Manage multiple tables efficiently by prioritizing tasks with effective time management skills
- Handle cash transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and process payments smoothly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless guest experience from start to finish
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and change accurately
- Ability to manage time efficiently during busy service hours
