We are now looking for a skilled Signage & Artwork Designer to lead our studio artwork, manage client proofs, and help coordinate production.
The Role
This is a hands-on role for a designer who understands how vector artwork translates into physical, high-quality signage.
You will take charge of our artwork output, turning client ideas into visual proofs, setting up production files, and keeping projects moving smoothly. Beyond design, you will also speak with clients and liaise directly with our workshop and installation team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Signage Design & Proofing: Create eye-catching artwork for shopfronts, vehicles, banners, and site signage. Produce visual proofs and manage client feedback through to sign-off.
- Production Artwork Prep: Prepare print-ready files; checking scale, resolution, cut paths, bleed lines, and material specifications for wide-format printing and vinyl plotting.
- Dealing with Enquiries: Answer incoming enquiries from local business owners, taking design briefs, and put together accurate proofs and quotes.
- Keeping Production Moving: Coordinate with our workshop makers and fitters so jobs transition smoothly from design to production and final installation.
- Client & Studio Support: Maintain friendly, clear communication with clients and keep our digital artwork archives organised and up to date.
What We Are Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Adobe Illustrator Mastery: Highly proficient in working in Adobe Illustrator.
- Customer Service: Experience in working with customers in a friendly, confident, professional manner, both in person and over the phone.
