We are recruiting for an office-based Course Co-Ordinator to join our small, friendly team. You will be a crucial part of our client’s journey – from the initial enquiry to completing a course.
We are initially advertising a temporary position with the possibility of progress to a permanent position for the right candidate. Alternatively this may suit a competent young person during their university/college summer holiday.
This is a role for someone who wants to see things through to the end and genuinely takes a pride in the work that they do.
Hours are flexible and open to discussion.
Hours and salary negotiable for the right candidate.
Main responsibilities include:
Effectively manage in-coming enquires, whether that’s over the telephone, emails, website, social media or third party Process bookings and managing course registrations Assist with scheduling and coordinating all UK events
Sending pre-course information to delegates and trainers Show initiative and be able to generate other opportunities by promoting our services favourably and in a structured professional way, with the ability to identify new opportunities
Print flyers, course notes and course materials General office duties and ad-hoc tasks
Skills & Attributes:
Excellent presentation and communication skills, maintaining accurate work and documentation
Friendly telephone manner and a passion for customer service
Requires a high degree of initiative and problem-solving skills
Knowledge and love of the farming industry would be an advantage
Previous experience in coordinating courses or events desirable but not essential as full training will be given
Must have excellent time management and organisational skills with a high attention to detail
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Handle more than one job at the same time and the ability to work under pressure Excellent written/verbal communication skills
IT Skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and web-based systems A positive attitude and openness to change in the business
Interest in animals, particularly cattle & sheep
Own transport essential due to rural location
Pay: From £12.75 per hour
