Job Title: European Logistics Coordinator
Reporting to: Logistics Manager
Location: Chesterfield | On-site
About Superior Wellness
Superior Wellness is the world's fastest-growing manufacturer and distributor of premium hot tubs, swim spas, Chill Tubs, saunas, and wellness products. We lead the market through a commitment to innovation, quality, and a customer-first mindset.
As an international business importing from multiple countries, we offer a global range of high-quality products to both trade and retail customers. Our focus is simple — improving health and wellbeing through exceptional products and service.
We're passionate about helping our partners and our people grow, driven by our vision to become the world market leader in wellness products and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
The Role
We are looking for a European Logistics Coordinator to become one of the central points of contact for our growing network of European partners — keeping deliveries on track and relationships running smoothly.
Working across our UK headquarters in Chesterfield and our Netherlands 3PL warehouse, you'll manage the full import and export cycle for both European and non-European partners — from booking outbound shipments and preparing customs documentation to ensuring goods clear borders without delay. You'll coordinate deliveries and collections, liaise closely with our Netherlands 3PL partner, and support our European account managers with day-to-day logistics enquiries. This is a varied, compliance-critical role that sits right at the heart of our international operations.
We're a fast-paced, growing business, so this role suits someone who is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable taking ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all European partners, building strong and trusted relationships.
- Handle inbound and outbound enquiries from European partners and account managers promptly and professionally, keeping them informed at every stage of the delivery process.
- Manage all import and export movements from our UK HQ and Netherlands 3PL warehouse, ensuring the correct customs declarations, commercial invoices, packing lists, and export licences are in place for both EU and non-EU destinations.
- Coordinate and book outbound shipments from both the UK and Netherlands, selecting appropriate freight carriers for oversized and heavy goods, monitoring transit progress, and resolving any customs, border, or in-transit issues promptly.
- Liaise daily with our Netherlands 3PL warehouse partner to oversee order processing, dispatch, and export compliance — ensuring all outbound shipments are correctly documented, meet country-specific import requirements, and are released without delay.
- Ensure full compliance with UK export controls and EU import regulations, including correct commodity codes, country of origin declarations, and Incoterms, working with freight forwarders and customs brokers as required for both European and non-European shipments.
- Work closely with European account managers to support their logistics and fulfilment needs, providing timely updates, accurate shipping documentation (including customs paperwork, EUR.1 certificates, and proof of export), and prompt resolution of any compliance or border-related queries.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes across the European supply chain.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Proven experience in an international logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain role with direct responsibility for import and export shipments.
- Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with European partners and stakeholders.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong working knowledge of import and export procedures — including customs declarations, commodity codes, Incoterms, country of origin rules, and the documentation requirements for both EU and non-EU markets (e.g. commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of conformity, EUR.1 movement certificates).
- Proficiency in logistics or order management software.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a calm head under pressure.
Desirable:
- Experience working with 3PL warehouses or third-party logistics providers across multiple countries, ideally including the Netherlands or wider Benelux region.
- A second European language.
- Familiarity with post-Brexit UK export requirements and the implications for trade with EU and non-EU partners, including experience liaising with customs brokers or freight forwarders.
- Experience handling large or oversized freight — such as palletised goods, heavy plant, or bulky consumer products — across international lanes.
We're looking for someone who is hands-on, reliable, and takes ownership of their work.
