Join Our Deli & Coffee Bar Team | Experienced Food & Coffee Specialist
Full-Time | Mon–Fri (Up to 40 Hours/Week) | No Weekends!
Are you an experienced food lover looking for a craft-focused role with a rare Monday-to-Friday schedule? We’re looking for a skilled, confident, and reliable team member to play a lead role in our small, high-standard deli and coffee bar.
We take immense pride in making as much as possible in-house; from fresh salads, sandwiches and toasties to scratch-baked cakes and sweet treats. If you take pride in culinary precision, thrive in a fast-paced lunch rush, and love building relationships with loyal regulars, you'll fit right in.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Food Prep: Take ownership of our fresh daily food offerings, crafting premium sandwiches, salads, toasties, and baked goods.
- Peak-Hour Support: Step up at the coffee bar during busy rushes with speed, composure, and top-tier customer service.
- Maintain Kitchen Excellence: Oversee hygiene standards, keep prep areas organized, and meticulously manage allergen and food safety procedures.
- Help Drive Quality: Bring your experience to the table to maintain and elevate our high standards of quality, presentation, and consistency.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven Kitchen/Deli Experience: Prior experience in a high-quality deli, cafe, or food-prep kitchen is essential.
- Solid Food Safety & Allergen Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of food hygiene regulations, allergen safety, and kitchen best practices.
- Composure Under Pressure: The ability to stay calm, organized, and efficient when the lunch rush hits.
- A Customer-First Mindset: Welcoming, professional, and adept at maintaining a warm vibe with our local community.
- Versatility: Comfortable moving seamlessly between food prep, floor organization, and coffee service when needed.
