Job Opportunity: Outdoor Team Supervisor

Contract: Part-time
Salary: £15.00 per hour (starting rate)
About Us:
If you're a natural leader with sharp attention to detail, a keen eye for health & safety, and a passion for delivering great customer experiences, we want to hear from you! We're looking for a Supervisor to take the lead on our outdoor events team, from our well-established Sunday Car Boots to evening car parking shifts for local Bristol events such as Ashton Gate sporting fixtures, concerts, and other live events.
You'll be the go-to person on site, keeping the team organised, visitors safe, and everything running like clockwork, rain or shine.
What You'll Do:
· Lead the setup and pack-down of events, briefing the team and assigning roles.
· Take ownership of on-site health & safety — spotting risks early and acting on them.
· Oversee the smooth running of events, ensuring visitor safety and a great experience from arrival to departure.
· Supervise and support team members, solving problems on the go and keeping morale high.
· Be the first point of contact for visitor queries or issues, handling them with a calm, professional approach.
· Check equipment is being operated and maintained correctly and safely.
· Report back on shift performance, incidents, and any improvements for future events.
What We're Looking For:
· Previous experience supervising or leading a team, ideally in events, hospitality, or a customer-facing environment.
· Excellent attention to detail — someone who notices what others miss.
· Strong working knowledge of health & safety practices, or a genuine willingness to build this quickly.
· A confident communicator who can brief a team clearly and stay calm under pressure.
· Flexible with working hours — events mean early starts, late finishes, evenings and weekends.
· Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
· Good physical fitness (some lifting and manual handling required).
· First Aid trained is a strong bonus.
· Own method of transport or live close by.
