About the Role
Do you have an eye for detail, a passion for clean design, and an interest in the automotive world? Then this could be the role for you.
As our Graphic Designer, you will design and create page layouts and visual content for automotive websites, alongside digital campaigns and marketing materials. You will work closely with our Engineering, Marketing, and Client Services teams to design new website pages, templates and features for our dealership and automotive group clients, helping them stand out online.
You will gain exposure to automotive web platforms, digital marketing campaigns, and a variety of client brands, making this an ideal opportunity for a junior to mid weight designer looking to build a career within a fast paced digital agency.
This role would suit someone who is creative, organised, keen to learn, and enjoys turning briefs into polished visual content.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing website pages, layouts, and templates for automotive dealership and group client websites
- Creating wireframes and page mockups to plan out new website features and layouts before build
- Designing key website pages such as homepages, vehicle listing pages, offers pages, and contact pages in line with client branding
- Working closely with our Engineering teams to hand over designs for build and ensuring the finished website matches the intended design
- Designing responsive layouts that work well across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
- Designing graphics and digital assets for automotive websites, including banners, page graphics, and promotional content
- Producing social media graphics and digital advertising creative for client & brand campaigns
- Resizing, optimising, and preparing images and artwork for use across websites and digital platforms
- Following brand guidelines to ensure design consistency across client websites and our own brand
- Supporting senior designers and Engineering teams with larger website design projects and full site builds
- Helping to prepare website design assets for new client onboarding and website launches
- Liaising with the Web, Marketing, and Client Services teams to understand design briefs and client requirements
- Organising and maintaining design files, templates, and brand asset libraries
- Keeping up to date with website design trends, tools, and best practice within the automotive and digital marketing sectors
- Assisting with quality checks on website designs, page layouts, and marketing deliverables before they go live to clients
- Meeting with customers to understand their vision and brief, translating this into a clear plan for the design
- Aiding the Sales and Marketing departments with pitch material and supporting materials for new business
- Pursuing ultimate efficiency by driving continuous improvement in time to complete for design tasks
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills:
- A relevant qualification or portfolio demonstrating strong graphic and website design skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Experience designing website page layouts, using tools such as Figma
- A good understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, colour, and website usability
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for consistent, polished visual content
- Ability to manage multiple design tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Good communication skills and the confidence to discuss design briefs with colleagues
- A willingness to learn about automotive websites, digital marketing, and brand guidelines
- Strong team player who works collaboratively across departments
- Basic understanding of file formats, image optimisation, and responsive design for web use
- Ability to work from our Shoreham based office at least 2 days per week and commute by car
Desirable Skills (but not entirely essential):
- Previous experience in a junior or mid weight website or graphic design role, agency, or in house design team
- Experience designing full website pages or templates from wireframe through to finished design
- Basic knowledge of website content management systems and how designs are built into live pages
- Understanding of UX or UI design principles and best practice for website usability
- Understanding of automotive, dealership, or motor retail environments
- Experience with video editing, motion graphics, or animation tools
- Experience using project management or creative collaboration tools

Location & Working Pattern
As we mentioned before, this role is primarily office-based at our Shoreham-by-Sea headquarters in West Sussex, with flexible working available. Due to our office location, please note the following:
- There are no public transport links
- Applicants must be able to drive and hold a valid UK driving licence
- A reasonable commuting distance to Shoreham is essential
- A dedicated on-site parking space is included as part of the role
As a creative agency with a desire to nurture the talent in our business, we're committed to in-person collaboration and expect team members to attend the office minimum 2 days per week
