Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking CSCS Labourer to join our team on-site. The ideal candidate will possess a valid CSCS card and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and efficiency in all tasks. This role involves supporting various construction activities, ensuring that work areas are clean and organised, and assisting skilled tradespeople as required. We are open to CIS candidates.
Jobs are based in Birmingham, own transport would be ideal but if transport is needed to site, you would need to get to our Offices in Brownhills for 6.50am for a prompt leave at 7am.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
- Perform general site maintenance and clean-up tasks.
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with their duties as needed.
- Report any issues or hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Skills
- Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
- A valid driving licence is desirable but not mandatory.
