Job Overview:
We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to individuals in a care home or home care setting. This is a rewarding role where you will make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Support individuals with mobility and transfers
- Administer medication according to care plans
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Engage in meaningful conversations and provide companionship
- Help individuals with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Follow care plans and ensure individual needs are met
Experience:
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with individuals, families, and colleagues
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable
