Registered Nurse (Night Duty)

Full time 36.75 hours per week (3 nights a week then 4 nights a week rolling pattern)
£26.50ph depending on experience
Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for making a difference in the lives of others? Elder Homes is looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (Night Duty) who will play a key role within Elder Homes Ltd which has two high quality nursing homes, Cluny Lodge and Chamberlain, situated in the Morningside area of Edinburgh. As a Registered Nurse, you'll look after the physical, psychological and social needs of our residents to help us deliver the quality care they deserve.
Requirements
- You’ll need to have current NMC registration and a good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices to join us as a Registered Nurse.
- Dedicated and compassionate, you'll pride yourself on your person-centred, thoughtful approach to nursing.
- Minimum 1 year post-graduate nursing experience
- Registered General Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse/Enrolled Nurse
- The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, along with excellent listening skills
- Experience with Care Home Nursing or in a similar environment
- You MUST have the right to work in the UK – we cannot offer sponsorships
- Experience of eMAR and Digital Care planning software
Responsibilities
- Promoting the highest standards of clinical nursing throughout the nursing home
- Planning, implementing and supervising the provision of quality care
- Abiding by the Nursing and Midwifery Council’s (NMC’S) code of professional conduct

Candidate Requirements:
You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and team working skills, together with the ability to take a flexible approach to your work.
Fluent English language skills are required.
Successful applicants will be subject to a PVG check and satisfactory references.
