We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and proactive Registered Nurse to join our team at our Inpatient Substance Misuse Detox Clinic. Whether you are experienced or a newly qualified nurse, if you have an interest in substance misuse, value the stability of a fixed rota, and want to make a real difference, we would love to hear from you.
Supporting the Registered Manager and Clinical Lead, you will help deliver high-quality care across a 24-hour shift system, supporting residents through titration, stabilisation, and detoxification. Main duties include assessing and planning clinical care, managing clients’ physical and mental health needs through treatment, and responding to medical emergencies. You will also handle first-line crisis interventions, manage risks, and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed.
Previous experience in substance misuse is preferred, but bringing the right personal qualities, clinical diligence, empathy, and positive attitude is what matters most—we provide a comprehensive training program, including support for newly qualified nurses. You must be a Registered Nurse with active registration, strong communication skills, and the ability to work a fixed rota with 25% night cover.
