Providing you with a fantastic opportunity, we have created the role of stock controller with the main objective of being a key link between intake, operations and purchase. This role is vital in ensuring that we maintain great customer satisfaction. The role will involve monitoring stock levels, movements, locations and strategic use of space and processes. The aim of this role is to continually reduce the number of stock losses, write-offs and customer and or supplier stock queries.
We are looking for a friendly experienced Stock Controller who is enthusiastic, committed and ambitious. The individual will need to be able to work independently and be self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. Could this be you?
Your Responsibilities:
Checking stock levels regularly and replenishing stock in line with patient demand reports in a timely manner.
Completing the required paperwork when sourcing new stock and assisting, where required, in setting up new product codes and pricing.
Storing and organizing stock in the correct location as well as updating stock information on the computer system (MAGENTO)
Receipting of stock and comparing items received against items ordered to ensure that mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted and addressed accordingly.
Implementing or improving processes and procedures.
Compiling daily reports as well as managing end of month stock holding to meet patient demand and business requirements.
Maintaining records of pricing, purchases and other relevant information.
Performing random checks and audits to ensure accuracy and integrity.
Ensure that KPIs and SLAs are successfully achieved
Ensure that all Health & Safety policies and procedures are complied with and fully maintained as well as maintaining an excellent standard of housekeeping within the Pharmacy.
Communicate with suppliers and provide feedback to the relevant departments.
Report damaged and missing stock to suppliers within the agreed timelines.
Manage stock expiry dates and recalls efficiently following company SOPs
Follow company SOPS, Policy and Procedure.
Processing of Returns back in, storage and back out again
Your Experience:
Proven experience of stock management ordering, receipting, processing and stock auditing
Experience of Northern Ireland export declaration, supplementary submissions is desirable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Keen eye for detail as this role is as much about accuracy and quality, as speed
Minimum A to C GCSE in Math's and English.
Organized and works well under pressure.
Must be confident with IT and preferably have experience working within the Pharmaceutical Industry.
Must be proficient in Microsoft excel
