Our Wrexham based client are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join their team on a Permanent basis
Key Responsibilities - Quality Manager
- Manage warranty, OKM and returned parts, including root cause analysis, liability decisions, customer communication and supplier follow-up.
- Raise, manage and close internal and external 8D reports, leading corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Act as a key contact for suppliers and customers on quality matters, supporting supplier improvement and customer requirements.
- Carry out product and internal audits in line with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, supporting third-party audits and reducing NCRs.
- Lead PPAP activity, sample approvals, product validation, seat requalification testing and related documentation.
- Maintain calibration schedules, controlled records and quality documentation to meet audit and customer requirements.
- Report quality performance data, including scrap, rework, OKM, warranty, KPIs and group reporting requirements.
- Maintain and continuously improve the Integrated Management System, working with cross-functional teams to promote best practice.
About You - Quality Manager
- Completed degree in an engineering/technical field or a comparable qualification, with several years of professional experience in quality management
- Several years of experience in the quality field, preferably within the automotive industry
- Leadership experience and responsibility
- Knowledge of automotive quality methods and standards
- Excellent communication skills and a confident professional demeanour
- Willingness to travel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Office)
