Duties
- Assist in supervising daily food production, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations
- Lead food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining consistency and efficiency across all stations
- Support the training and development of kitchen staff, promoting best practices in food safety, hygiene, and culinary techniques
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage to minimize waste and control costs
- Oversee adherence to health and safety regulations, including sanitation standards and food safety protocols
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings
- Step into the Head Chef’s role when necessary, providing leadership during shifts and ensuring smooth kitchen operations
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment with strong team management skills
- Extensive food production knowledge with hands-on experience in food preparation and cooking techniques
- Solid kitchen experience within hospitality or restaurant settings, demonstrating culinary expertise and professionalism
- Excellent leadership abilities to motivate, guide, and support a diverse culinary team
- Deep understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices to ensure compliance at all times
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, front-of-house staff, and suppliers

Pay: £25,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
