Established in 2008, The Turquoise Collection is a UK tour operator and luxury holiday villa rental agent. We operate in Turkey, Croatia, Morocco, Croatia and the Greek Islands and are currently offering a " Journey Planner " apprenticeship to work as part of our small team based in our Stowmarket office. This is a sales role, with some administration tasks and lots of interaction with our clients by telephone and email. Study at NVQ level 3 to be completed alongside the responsibilities of the role and during working hours.
We are looking for somebody who is smart and confident, has above average exam results, and is ready to work hard to learn, and grow with our business. We expect that the apprenticeship would last around a year, and upon successful completion, that the apprentice would be appointed as a Journey planner on our normal starting pay scale, currently £21,000.00 to £23,500 per annum.
The role will include
Communication by telephone and email with new enquirers and booked guests.
Learning about our customers needs and suggesting accommodation, flight and other service options.
Familiarisation trips to our destinations ( funded by the Turquoise Collection )
Payment processing
Communicating with suppliers and partners
In house training
Study at NVQ level 3
Working Hours
The role is full time (35 hours per week) and the hours of work are 9 am to 5 pm Mon-Fri Two Saturdays in every four weeks and a day off during the week for Saturday working.
