We are looking for a skilled and motivated CCTV & Access Control Engineer to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality electronic security solutions and excellent customer service.
As a CCTV & Access Control Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, and repair of CCTV, access control, and related security systems across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, and residential sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, service, and maintain CCTV and access control systems.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to security systems.
- Configure IP-based CCTV systems, network video recorders (NVRs), digital video recorders (DVRs), and access control software.
- Install and maintain door entry, intercom, and video entry systems.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits.
- Test systems to ensure they operate correctly and meet client requirements.
- Complete service reports, commissioning records, and installation documentation accurately.
- Provide customers with training on the operation of installed systems.
- Ensure all work complies with company procedures, health and safety legislation, and relevant industry standards.
- Maintain a professional approach and represent the company positively at all times.
- Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota where required.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience installing and servicing CCTV and access control systems.
- Good understanding of IP networking and security system configuration.
- Experience fault-finding and diagnosing electronic security systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.
- ECS or CSCS card (desirable)
- IPAF and PASMA certification (desirable)
- Experience working on integrated security systems.
- Basic knowledge of fire and intruder alarm systems.

Pay: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
