Graduate Teaching Assistant – Secondary School – Guildford
Pay: £85-£105 per day (dependent on experience)

Quantum Scholars are recruiting on behalf of a supportive and well-regarded secondary school in Guildford, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join the school from September 2025.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to gain meaningful school experience before training to teach. The school offers strong internal progression and is part of a well-regarded SCITT (School-Centred Initial Teacher Training) programme, making it an ideal environment for aspiring teachers.
Full-time Teaching Assistant position
Support students across a range of subjects and year groups (ages 11-16)
Work closely with classroom teachers to enhance pupil learning and engagement
Excellent potential to progress into teacher training through the school’s SCITT programme
A recent graduate (any subject considered – strong preference for core subjects)
Confident, proactive, and patient with a genuine passion for working with young people
Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
You must have the right to work in the UK – unfortunately, we cannot offer visa sponsorship for this role
Competitive daily pay (£85-£105 depending on experience)
