Join our clients manufacturing team as a Machine Operator on the Weekend shift, where your expertise will drive the production of high-quality components and products. Duties
- Operate and monitor various machines
- Set up machines using hand tools, tooling, and materials handling techniques to prepare for production runs.
- Program and troubleshoot to optimize machine performance.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and adjustments on machinery to prevent downtime.
- Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and movement of raw materials and finished products.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with operating machines
- Experience of casting would be beneficial
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and materials handling equipment safely and effectively.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks during production.
- Warehouse experience including materials handling, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
- Knowledge of tooling setup, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
Working hours -
Day shift: Friday, Saturday & Sunday 6am - 6pm
Night shift: Friday, Saturday & Sunday 6pm - 6am
Pay: £14.96-£17.94 per hour
