About us
Portree Kitchens is a bespoke kitchen design and manufacturing business with our own in-house cabinetmaking workshop, showroom, and installation team. We build and fit beautiful, individually crafted kitchens to an exceptional standard, and we're looking for a skilled fitter who takes genuine pride in their work to join our team.
The role
You'll be installing high-end, bespoke kitchens in clients' homes — working with hand-built cabinetry and premium appliances. This is precision work for discerning clients, so attention to detail and a finished result you'd be proud to put your name to are non-negotiable.
Day to day you'll:
- Install bespoke kitchen units and cabinetry to a flawless standard
- Fit premium appliances, sinks, taps, and integrated systems
- Carry out joinery, scribing, and finishing work on site
- Liaise professionally with clients, designers, and the wider install team
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and well-managed throughout each project
What we're looking for
- Proven experience fitting bespoke or high-end kitchens (not flat-pack or volume installs)
- Strong joinery and carpentry skills, with excellent scribing and finishing
- A meticulous eye for detail and high personal standards
- Reliable, professional, and presentable when working in clients' homes
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Relevant trade qualifications (e.g. NVQ in Carpentry & Joinery)
- Plumbing and basic electrical competence
