Mardon Engineering is seeking a Assembly Operative / Engineer to work with our existing team.
The role involves assembling fans, filter cabinets and other machines using a range of hand tools.
We work on a small batch production basis so there is a wide variety of machines which pass through the workshop which offers a good variety of work.
The successful candidate will be working with a team of skilled engineers and there is scope for further training and learning new skills.
Duties:
- Assemble cabinets and fans using hand tools and power tools
- Route cables through machines and motors
- Inspect finished products for defects or issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Basic hand skills with the ability to use both hand tools and power tools
- Prior experience in assembly or similar hands on work
- Driving Licence
The salary range is £28,000 - £35,000 per year.
We are based in Ditton Priors which is between Bridgnorth and Ludlow. This is approximately 9 miles from Bridgnorth and 13 miles from Ludlow.
