The Role
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Level 3 (or above) Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team. You will play a key role in supporting children's learning and development, ensuring their wellbeing, and providing high-quality care in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 4 years.
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
- Observe, assess, and record children's learning and development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment.
- Support children's emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development.
- Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing are maintained at all times.
- Work collaboratively with the nursery team to provide exceptional childcare.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above) that is recognised in the UK.
- Have a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Have a good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Be caring, patient, reliable, and enthusiastic.
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Be committed to providing outstanding care and learning opportunities for every child.
