The Tavern Social is an exciting new all-day restaurant, bar and live-sports venue opening on Water Street in Liverpool city centre.
We are looking for friendly, confident and experienced floor staff to join our opening team. You will help create an excellent guest experience across breakfast, brunch, lunch, evening service, live sports and private events.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service
- Take food and drink orders accurately
- Use the till and handheld ordering system
- Serve food and drinks professionally
- Understand the menu and confidently answer customers’ questions
- Follow allergen procedures and communicate dietary requirements correctly
- Set up, clean and reset tables
- Check on guests throughout their visit
- Process payments accurately
- Help maintain a clean, organised and welcoming venue
- Support busy sporting events, bottomless brunches and private functions
- Work closely with the kitchen, bar and management teams
What we are looking for
- Previous restaurant, bar or hospitality experience is preferred
- Excellent customer-service and communication skills
- A friendly, professional and confident manner
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Good teamwork and attention to detail
- A reliable and positive attitude
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
- Applicants must be legally permitted to work in the UK
