Job Overview
Join our vibrant vineyard team as a Vineyard Worker and immerse yourself in the rewarding world of grape cultivation and vineyard maintenance. In this energetic role, you will contribute to the health and productivity of our vineyards by performing essential tasks such as, pruning, tucking in, leaf removal and harvest itself. Your efforts will directly support the production of high-quality grapes. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on skills in viticulture while working outdoors in a dynamic environment. This role is available to harvest 2026 but future work in the vineyards will be available for the right people as we build a full team of workers.
Duties
- Assist with maintenance, pruning, leaf removal and harvesting grapes to ensure healthy vine growth and optimal yield
- Use hand tools and power tools for vineyard maintenance tasks such as trellising, tying, and pruning
- Perform general maintenance tasks around the vineyard, including fence repairs and equipment cleaning
- Apply horticultural best practices to promote vine health and manage pests or disease issues effectively
Qualifications
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Familiarity with hand tools preferred
- Strong interest in horticulture, plant care, or agriculture fields
- Willingness to learn within the vineyard environment
- Good physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout shifts
