Our client is a well-known and reputable HGV dealership with 7 different locations in Southeast of England. Currently they are looking for an experienced Parts Advisor / HGV Parts Advisor / Vehicle Parts Advisor to join their busy team.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supplying vehicle parts and accessories to customers and technicians, maintaining stock levels, and delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers and workshop technicians with parts enquiries.
- Identify and source the correct vehicle parts and accessories.
- Process orders, invoices, and payments accurately.
- Manage stock control, including receiving, checking, and storing deliveries.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct stock checks.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely availability of parts.
- Promote additional products and services where appropriate.
- Ensure the parts department is organised, clean, and compliant with company procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or in a similar automotive role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle parts and automotive systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good IT and administrative skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and prioritise workload.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred).
