The role
We are seeking a dedicated 360 Excavator Driver to join our team in Walsall. This role is important in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery essential to our construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor a 360 excavator to ensure efficient workflow
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment
- Assist with fabrication and assembly tasks as needed
- Follow safety protocols and report any issues promptly
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
- Maintain accurate records of machine usage and maintenance
- Support materials handling and logistical operations on site
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a 360 Excavator Driver or in a similar role within construction or groundworks
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with fabrication tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and operate related machinery
- Strong attention to safety procedures and protocols
- Good communication skills and a team oriented approach
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
- CPCS or NPORS certification for 360 excavators is a plus
