Main purpose of the role:
To carry out Motor or Inverter assembly operations in accordance with a build schedule and following a guided assembly and production record system.
Key responsibilities:
· To carry out mechanical and electrical assembly operations in accordance with approved guided assembly system (Metis Tascus)
· To carry out mechanical and electrical tests and measurements using approved equipment and recording or importing the results into the production record system.
· Ensure that all equipment and tooling is in a satisfactory working condition and within calibration as instructed in the guided assembly system and / or TPM system. To report any issues to the Build Supervisor where required.
· To apply and maintain 6-S (housekeeping) standard to work-station(s) as required.
· Assist Manufacturing Engineers in creation of new or updated assembly instructions.
· Ensure all documentation such as timesheets, holiday and absence records are completed and in both an accurate and timely manner.
· To actively suggest improvements to build the company processes as part of the continual improvement process – this is generally through start of shift meetings and quality circles.
· Any other tasks that are reasonably assigned to you by your Supervisor, including development activities which are within your capability and skills.
Health and Safety
· Ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance Health and Safety policies.
· To comply with PPE requirements for the relevant work-station(s).
· Keep up to date with Health and Safety regulations and changes.
· Make sure that any faulty tools, equipment or PPE are removed from use and where possible repaired or replaced. Ensure these issues are also reported to your Supervisor.
Pay: £29,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
