Beauty Therapy Tutor – Pathways Beauty Academy (Maternity Cover)
Fixed-Term Contract | Start Date: 1 September | 25 hours per week | Doncaster
Looking for a role that fits around family life while making a real difference?
Imagine using your beauty industry experience in a role where you'll finish work at 2:30pm every day, enjoy 12 weeks away from work each year, and help young people discover confidence, skills and a future they can believe in.
At Future Pathways CIC, we believe education should never be one-size-fits-all. We work with young people aged 13–16 who need an alternative to mainstream education, providing a safe, supportive environment where they can rebuild confidence, develop practical skills and achieve qualifications that open doors.
Since opening in 2019, we've supported hundreds of young people to re-engage with learning through vocational education, personalised support and positive relationships. We're proud to be one of Doncaster's leading Alternative Provision providers and we're continuing to grow.
As part of that journey, we've created Pathways Beauty Academy—our professional training salon where young people gain recognised qualifications while developing real industry skills in a supportive, commercial environment.
We're looking for a passionate Beauty Therapy Tutor to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract, starting 1 September.
This isn't just another beauty role. It's an opportunity to use your knowledge, patience and encouragement to help young people who may never have believed they could succeed.
About the Role
Working alongside our Salon Manager, you'll deliver engaging, practical beauty therapy sessions that prepare learners for recognised qualifications and future employment.
You'll teach practical skills including beauty therapy, nails, hair and salon professionalism while supporting learners to build confidence, resilience and positive relationships.
With small learner groups, you'll have the time to get to know every learner, celebrate every achievement and create an environment where young people feel safe to learn and grow.
Every day is different, every learner has a story, and every success matters.
