Mechanic
We are looking for a reliable, experienced, and motivated Mechanic to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
- Perform MOT preparation and repairs where required.
- Replace and repair components including brakes, suspension, clutches, timing belts, exhausts, and engines.
- Complete vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements.
- Maintain accurate job records and complete paperwork efficiently.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Keep the workshop clean, organised, and professional.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a vehicle mechanic or automotive technician.
- Relevant automotive qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 preferred).
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent attention to detail and a positive, hardworking attitude.
Desirable
- MOT Tester qualification (preferred but not essential).
- Experience working with diagnostic software and modern vehicle systems.
