WK1: (Wed -Thur- Fri) Day (3 days in total) - 06:00 - 18:00
WK2: (Mon-Tue-Wed-Sun) Day (4 days in total) - 06:00- 18:00
The Multi-Skilled Process Operator is responsible for:
Process Management
Ensuring there are sufficient supplies of the correct raw materials at the infeed stage.
Preparation of pudding ingredients and mixing of puddings
Preparing syrup and cooking raw materials to meet the requirements of the Product Specification.
Cooking raw materials at a rate that meets the usage rate of the process.
Stopping production if any machine is causing the process to be unable to be brought under control or process compromises quality or the health and safety of personnel.
Play an active role with regards to all Continuous Improvement Initiatives such as 5s, Daily SIC meetings and daily taste panels etc.
Quality and Food Safety
The Multi Skilled Operator is responsible for ensuring they are working in a safe food environment, the process follows a legal and food safe process to produce a product that is suitable for the end user.
Working to prevent a risk to product safety
Performing all work activities in a manner consistent with Quality Policy and Procedures.
Maintaining communication and working in cooperation with other process staff and other departments staff to ensure that the product, when packed, meets all product quality standards.
Ensuring that any potential product contaminant is removed from the production area.
Maintaining the cleanliness of the process and adjacent areas, and completing cleaning checklists as required.
Recording materials usage.
To ensure that all moisture checks, bulk density and metal detector checks are completed and are in spec.
All checks must be recorded and sign off.
To ensure that all garnish procedures are followed correctly.
To ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed correctly.
Entry Qualifications, Experience and skills:
- Knowledge and experience of the production process.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Basic knowledge of food legislation.
- Attention to detail.
- Good Manufactures Practise.
