Xtreme Pharmacy is looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Dispenser to join our busy community pharmacy team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with community pharmacy experience who enjoys delivering outstanding patient care and excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense NHS and private prescriptions in accordance with legal and professional standards.
- Assist the pharmacist in the safe and efficient supply of medicines.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to patient enquiries.
- Manage repeat prescriptions and prescription collections.
- Maintain accurate dispensing and stock records.
- Receive, check and replenish pharmaceutical stock.
- Prepare and label medication accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organised and compliant dispensary.
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure the smooth running of the pharmacy.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 Certificate in Pharmacy Dispensing (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working in a UK community pharmacy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Right to work in the UK.
