We are looking for an experienced Early Years Educator to join our team and help create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for young children. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a wide range of activities that promote the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development of children aged 2-5. This role requires a creative individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching. The Early Years Educator will also be responsible for developing lesson plans, implementing curriculum, and providing feedback to parents. The hours will be 8.30am- 12.30pm, September 2026 start.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of young children.
- Observe and assess the development of children.
- Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play.
- Encourage children to explore, create, and express themselves through activities.
- Develop positive relationships with parents and guardians.
- Maintain records of each child's progress.
- Communicate with other professionals such as speech therapists, social workers, and medical professionals.
Qualifications
- Level 3 in early childhood education, at least 1 year experience of working in a nursery.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children and parents
- Nursery experience, demonstrating the ability to create a nurturing environment
- Proficiency in English for clear communication and writing.
- MUST have experience with working with SEND. Understanding how to communicate and interact with children with different needs.
Pay: £12.21 per hour
