Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and diligent Plumbing and Heating Improver / Trainee to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and heating systems under supervision
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to complete tasks efficiently and safely
- Support required for project completion
- Perform basic tasks related to plumbing and heating installations
- Carry out heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and effectively
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during on-site work
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Learn to read technical drawings, plans, and specifications relevant to plumbing and heating projects
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, mechanical systems, or related trades is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, or carpentry is advantageous
- Good understanding of basic maths for measurements and calculations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work physically demanding tasks
- Valid driving licence for commercial driving is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided for suitable candidates
- Strong willingness to learn new skills and develop a career in the plumbing and heating industry
- Reliable, punctual, organised, with good attention to detail
