Job Overview
New Dancing Dragon Bar & Restaurant in Summertown, Oxford is looking for a friendly and reliable Bar & Restaurant Assistant to join our team.
This is a part-time position starting from 11 September 2026. The role involves assisting with bar service, customer service and general restaurant duties.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bar and restaurant service
- Welcome and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders and assist with serving food and drinks
- Keep the bar and restaurant areas clean and tidy
- Clear tables and reset tables when required
- Assist other members of the team during busy periods
- Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
Requirements
- Previous restaurant, bar or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Friendly, reliable and hardworking
- Able to work as part of a team
- Able to work in a busy restaurant environment
- Evening and weekend availability is preferred
- Full training can be provided for the right candidate
Salary
Pay will be based on experience and suitability for the role.
