Lampwick Care is a temporary accommodation provider working with local authorities to deliver safe, clean, well-managed housing for vulnerable adults.
We operate hotel-style and shared accommodation, maintaining high standards through hands-on management, clear procedures, and accountability. We are looking for a resilient, experienced cleaner who can maintain safe, clean, hotel-standard rooms in an environment that can sometimes be challenging.
This role is not standard domestic cleaning. Some rooms may require deep cleaning and a calm, practical approach. We’re looking for someone who can stay professional, grounded, and focused on the task.
About the role
- Cleaning bedrooms and shared areas to a hotel standard
- Deep-cleaning rooms following short or difficult stays
- Changing bedding, managing linen, and restocking rooms
- Working around residents respectfully and professionally
- Reporting maintenance, damage, or safeguarding concerns promptly
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has hotel, hostel, or serviced accommodation cleaning experience
- Is resilient, emotionally steady, and practical
- Is comfortable working in an environment supporting vulnerable people
- Can work independently and follow clear cleaning checklists
- Is reliable, punctual, and physically capable
This role suits someone who:
- Has worked in hotels, hostels, care or supported accommodation
- Understands boundaries, professionalism, and discretion
- Takes pride in restoring rooms to a clean, safe standard
- Ideally someone with a car so they can access external units if they want more work.
