Rising Care Services Ltd is a small provider in Exeter, Devon.
After years of excellent service, our Registered Manager is moving on to new opportunities. We are therefore seeking an experienced, dynamic Registered Manager to build upon the solid foundations which have already been achieved. We may be small. but we're highly ambitious, with a great supportive team. Our outgoing RM will be on hand and be part of our recruitment process, providing valuable insight into our service and ensuring a smooth, confident transistion.
This is a stable, well‑run service ready for a leader who wants to make a meaningful impact.
You’ll also be supported by directors with nearly 50 years of combined experience in the care sector, who believe in strong governance, high‑quality care, and giving their Registered Manager both the backing and autonomy they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day‑to‑day running of our community care services, ensuring smooth, safe, and effective operations.
- Maintain full regulatory compliance, prepare for inspections, and ensureing all KPI's are consistently met or exceeded.
- Act as the safeguarding lead, managing concerns, ensuring staff awareness, and embedding robust protection practices.
- Recruit, supervise, coach, and develop staff; lead with clarity, positivity, and accountability.
- Ensure person‑centred care plans, risk assessments, and documentation are accurate, up‑to‑date, and reflective of individual needs.
- Monitor service quality through audits, feedback, and data; drive continuous improvement and service development.
- Build strong relationships with families, professionals, commissioners, and external partners.
- Lead investigations, ensure timely reporting, and embed learning from incidents and complaints.
- Identify opportunities to grow the service, improve occupancy, and strengthen community presence.
- Manage budgets, staffing levels, and resources to ensure financial sustainability and high‑quality care delivery.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £37,500.00-£42,000.00 per year
