We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pub Supervisor to oversee daily operations within a vibrant pub environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer experiences, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The Pub Supervisor will be responsible for managing team performance, coordinating food preparation and service, and ensuring the smooth running of all pub activities. Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality settings, particularly with supervising responsibilities, is essential to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily pub operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Supervise and support team members including bar staff, servers, and kitchen personnel
- Assist with food preparation and cooking as needed to maintain quality standards
- Manage the serving of food and beverages, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Coordinate food production processes to ensure timely delivery during busy periods
- Enforce health and safety policies across the premises to maintain a safe environment for staff and patrons
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences
- Organise staff schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor performance
- Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally to uphold the pub’s reputation
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and service areas
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience within a restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting is essential.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Experience in managing teams within fast-paced environments such as pubs or restaurants
- Familiarity with culinary practices including food production and kitchen operations
- Previous roles involving serving or hospitality duties are essential.
- excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage staff effectively
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to food service establishments
- Experience in hotel or barista roles can be advantageous but is not essential

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
