Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks across all production areas using hand tools and power tools to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, following health and safety guidelines.
- Assist with the disassembly and reassembly of equipment using hand tools for thorough cleaning and maintenance.
- Support the setup and breakdown of cleaning stations, ensuring all tools are maintained and stored correctly.
- Conduct regular inspections of hygiene areas, identifying any issues or hazards that need addressing promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning schedules efficiently during early shifts, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, including checklists and safety documentation, to ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning or hygiene role within a manufacturing or industrial setting is advantageous.
- Ability to operate basic hand tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good physical fitness to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to hygiene practices is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.

Paid weekly
Permanent contract available after 12 weeks successful training
