Window Fitter / Installer
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Window Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows and doors in residential and commercial properties while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Install uPVC, aluminium, and timber windows and doors to a high standard.
- Remove existing windows and prepare openings for new installations.
- Measure, fit, level, and secure frames accurately.
- Seal and finish installations to ensure they are weatherproof and energy efficient.
- Carry out repairs and adjustments to existing windows and doors when required.
- Ensure all work complies with current building regulations and health and safety standards.
- Load and unload materials and maintain company vehicles and equipment.
- Confident in handling glass.
- Keep work areas clean and tidy during and after installation.
- Communicate professionally with customers, answering questions and providing updates.
- Complete installation paperwork and report any issues to management.Essential Requirements
- Previous experience fitting windows and doors.
- Good knowledge of uPVC, aluminium, and timber products.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Qualifications
- MTC Card
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Fenestration Installation (or equivalent).
- Experience with conservatories, bi-fold doors, or roof lanterns.

Working Hours
Full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime or weekend work as required.
Pay: From £36,000.00 per year
