We are looking for a Security Systems Engineer to join our Wrexham LV Team, This is a field-based position with a primary site base in Filton, Bristol, supporting key client locations including Brize Norton and London.
Reporting to a Contract Manager, you will play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of a range of electronic security systems, ensuring high levels of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, servicing, and commissioning of Electronic Security Systems
- Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
- Diagnosing faults and completing corrective maintenance and repairs
- Responding to emergency call-outs and participating in standby rota
- Undertaking fault finding, testing, and remedial works
- Supporting customer operational requirements, including overtime where necessary
Your skills and experiences:
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience and strong technical knowledge across a range of security systems, including:
- Intruder Detection Systems
- Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems (PIDS)
- IP CCTV / Video Surveillance
- Access Control Systems (Nedap experience desirable)
- Electric Gates and Automated Barriers
- Turnstiles
Additionally, you will have:
- 18th Edition qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- A proactive, enthusiastic approach
- A strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards
Vetting Requirements
Due to the nature of our work, all successful applicants must be able to pass:
- BS7858:2019 security screening
- Enhanced DBS check
