PERMANENT HR MANAGER – OLNEY – 40-45K
Looking for a HR Manager who can work in a fast paced environment, multitask, be resilient and is a people person
Daily duties are likely to involve:-
- Reporting directly to the Board, the HR Manager is involved in the development, admin and smooth-running of all aspects of our HR function.
- The role will be the main point of contact for all HR matters – including recruitment – supporting both management and staff. As a business with two sites and over 100 staff, there’s plenty to get involved in!
- HR: employment contracts, probation reminders, illness admin, holiday admin etc.
- ER: first point of contact for managers and staff. ER processes including disciplinary, grievance, appeals, long term sickness, absence management etc.
- Recruitment: publicising roles, booking and following up interviews, sending letters and job offers, organising contracts and terms.
- Staff induction process: first day, induction training, ensuring requirements are met
- Attending HR & H&S meetings.
In return, what we need from you:-
- CIPD level 5 or equivalent experience.
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Experience of and enthusiasm for recruitment processes.
- Process-based – willingness to develop and maintain HR procedures across the business.
- Highly organised.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness is essential.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Experience of Mentor HR and H&S system would be helpful but not essential.
- General H&S experience would be helpful, but is not essential.
- Own transport is essential due to location
- Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm (half hour lunch break)
