Hours: 8-10hr shifts, Monday - Friday. Shift times range between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Pay Rate: £18.45 p/h.
We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our Reception/Front of House team as a receptionist.
The main duty of all receptionists is to present a united, professional image of the building and of the various departments/organisations working within it. The nature of this role requires a very high standard of customer service and awareness, to be demonstrated throughout the course of the day. The role may involve being based at a standalone reception, therefore the ability to work independently is a must.
The main duties are as follows, but not limited to:

Responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the reception desk.

Establishing identity and issuing day passes to staff with correct clearance.

Enter the data of all day passes issued onto a the Visitor Management System (VMS - Matrix) to ensure an accurate record is kept of passes issued.

Inputting of all visitor and contractor notifications onto the VMS to ensure they are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner upon their arrival.

Replying back to each visitor notification e-mail with the standard reply, acknowledging receipt of the notification and that the details have been entered onto the VMS.

Booking in visitors onto the VMS (Visitor Management System) upon their arrival and contacting their host, advising of their guest's arrival.

Conducting validation checks on government passes via the necessary portal and access control system.

Monitoring guests waiting to be collected to ensure that they are not left waiting for long periods.

Assisting with the access for mobility impaired visitors and staff.

Answering telephone queries in a polite, consistent and timely fashion.

Ensuring the integrity of the building security is not compromised by only allowing access to authorised visitors.

Ensuring that the working environment is presented in a professional manner at all times.

Assisting visitors in the event of emergency situations occurring on site.

Assisting with covering events that take place on site during normal working hours.

Covering fire warden duties in the event of a fire evacuation.

Supporting with security duties, inclusive of standing in positions and covering security breaks, when required.
ESSENTIAL:
-
Excellent communication skills.

Excellent Customer Service skills.

SIA licensed prior to commencing work.

CTC cleared prior to commencing work.

PC literate.
-
Experience of working on a reception.

To undertake further training as required for the position/site.

Willingness to cover other positions onsite such as Team Leader/Pass Production.

Flexible attitude to work.
-
Ability to perform a standing role when necessary.
