Machine Operator
Pay: £15.10 per hour
Hours:
- Rotating shifts:
- 6:00am – 2:00pm
- 2:00pm – 10:00pm
- 34 paid hours per week (unpaid breaks)
About the Role
Evo Personnel is recruiting an experienced Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing team.
We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and career-focused individual who takes pride in producing high-quality work. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and contribute effectively within a small team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machinery using the appropriate software.
- Machine small to medium-sized components from engineering drawings.
- Produce small to medium production batches.
- Work accurately to specified tolerances.
- Carry out quality checks to ensure components meet specifications.
- Work collaboratively within a small manufacturing team.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator (CNC experience preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
- Ability to plan and prioritise workload effectively.
- Capable of working under pressure while maintaining high standards.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to work.
- Commitment to following Health & Safety procedures and wearing the required PPE.
