Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care.
- Support food preparation tasks, including assembling ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met at all times.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting café environment by cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly.
- Manage serving duties efficiently, taking orders accurately and delivering excellent customer service with a friendly attitude.
- Follow proper food safety protocols to ensure hygiene standards are upheld throughout all operations.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately using basic math skills; process payments swiftly and efficiently.
- Support kitchen team members during busy periods by assisting with prep work or other tasks as needed to keep service flowing smoothly.
- Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
Experience
- Previous barista experience is highly desirable; familiarity with espresso machines and drink customization is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Experience in serving customers in fast-paced environments, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions confidently.
- Ability to manage time efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior experience with food preparation or kitchen support roles is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key!
