Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Motorhome & Campervan Valeter/Handyman to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our for sale and sold vehicles, ensuring each one looks its best for customers and sales. Additionally, you will perform various handyman tasks around our facilities to support smooth operations. Your energetic attitude and commitment to quality will help us uphold our high standards of service and professionalism.
Duties
- Thoroughly clean vehicles, including washing, vacuuming, polishing, and interior cleaning to ensure a pristine appearance for handovers, pitch wash the forecourt and internal clean of the showroom vehicles.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks on vehicles and around the premises, such as fixing leaks, replacing light bulbs, or repairing furniture
- Assist with vehicle movement within the facility, including parking and positioning for inspections or customer pick-up
- Conduct routine duties to maintain cleanliness in work areas and service bays
- Support customer service efforts by providing friendly assistance and ensuring vehicles are ready on time
- Keep detailed records of vehicle cleaning schedules and maintenance activities
- Follow safety protocols during all tasks to ensure a secure working environment
Requirements
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record; experience driving various types of vehicles preferred, a C1 licence is prefered, you can drive over 3500kg
- Previous cleaning experience is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Basic handyman skills such as minor repairs or maintenance work
- Reliable and punctual with excellent attention to detail and be customer focused with due care and attention
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
